‘Axis Powered by Genetec’ sees companies collaborate on access control solution

Genetec announced a new collaboration with Axis Communications and product offering called “Axis Powered by Genetec,” which combines Genetec Synergis access control software with AXIS A1210 and AXIS A1610 network door controllers.

The product will be offered exclusively through Genetec’s partners, who will have access to part numbers and inventory in April. According to a press release, integrators will benefit from pre-loaded hardware that is easy to deploy. The devices in the program will also include continuous firmware and cybersecurity updates, as well as additional features.

According to Genetec, additional “Powered by Genetec” edge devices will be introduced in the coming quarters.
