TOA Canada’s new amplifier.

TOA Canada Corporation is introducing a new low-powered multichannel amplifier, the DA-150EH.

The company says its latest product was designed to support versatility of multiple channels while maintaining appropriate power to each output.

The DA-150EH covers larger scale sound system applications where background or foreground music distributions and voice announcements are required in multi-zone.

The lightweight and compact amplifier offers an 8-channel Class D amplifier with 150W per channel.

Users can integrate the DA-150EH with 70V/100V line output systems while maintaining separate volume control for each channel increase audio system control. TOA explains that the amplifier is best suited to set-ups that only require mid-level power like those of courthouses, retail and hospitality, medical centres and hotels.

“We encounter many applications where our DA series power amplifiers would be overkill for a project, with the new 150W per channel amplifier, I foresee many more opportunities coming our way,” said Don Angus, regional sales manager for Ontario in a statement.
