SIA survey: Majority of respondents positive about security business conditions

According to a study conducted by the Security Industry Association (SIA), more than three-quarters (77 per cent) of respondents described conditions at their company as “excellent” or “good.”

SIA’s May-June Security Market Index includes a survey pool of leaders representing a cross-section of SIA membership, according to the association.

Also, 78 per cent of respondents said they expect conditions to improve during the next three months; 22 per cent said “much better” with 56 per cent reporting “a little better.”

When asked for their opinion on ISC West 2023, which took place March 28-31 in Las Vegas, respondents were overwhelmingly positive. More than half called it “excellent” and one in four said “one of the best – if not the best – ever.” Less than two per cent had a negative response to the trade show.
