HID Global appoints VP of government ID solutions
HID Global has appointed Rob Haslam as vice-president of government ID solutions. Haslam will be responsible for the strategic development and worldwide expansion of the company’s government-to-citizen ID business.

This includes delivering secure ID solutions into major government ePassport and eID projects that integrate Genuine HID technologies, products, solutions and service. Examples include the delivery of the Angolan and Saudia Arabia National ID, Australian driver’s licences, ePassports in the United Kingdom and Ireland, Italian Citizen ID, and U.S. Green Card programs.
Prior to joining HID Global, Haslam’s career included a role as vice-president of international sales and business development at L-1 Identity Solutions and 16 years at U.K. currency and identity specialist De La Rue.
