HID announced it has achieved SOC 2 Type 2 certification for its HID Origo Mobile Identities solution.
HID Origo Mobile Identities is a cloud-based platform that enables technology partners to build integrated access control solutions.
According to HID, the certification signifies that HID Origo Mobile Identities has undergone a rigorous audit process by a third party to demonstrate that effective measures are in place to protect the security and availability of customer data, according to the high standards of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) Trust Services Criteria.
“We are pleased to receive the SOC 2 Type 2 certification, which complements our commitment and dedication to protecting customer data and providing security. We will continue to invest in the HID Origo Mobile Identities platform to develop new capabilities that further enable robust security measures and ensure a seamless user experience,” said Hilding Arrehed, VP of product management and cloud services, HID, in a statement.
