Cognitec appoints sales manager for gaming and hospitality

Cognitec, a SALTO Group company, has named Andy Speropoulos as sales manager for the gaming and hospitality markets.

“Cognitec continues to build its sales team to better serve our customers in varied market segments and to respond to market demand for face recognition technology,” said Cognitec vice-president for the Americas Roger Kelesoglu. “Andy takes on a key role delivering our innovative technology to the gaming and hospitality markets in North America.”

Earlier this year, SALTO acquired Germany-based Cognitec. Cognitec’s portfolio includes solutions for face image database search, recorded video investigation, real-time video screening and people analytics, border control, ICAO compliant photo capturing, and face image quality assessment.
