Classic Fire + Life Safety announced the integration of Legacy Fire Protection into its brand and the restructuring of its Western Canada leadership team. The companies announced their partnership approximately a year ago.

The announcement also includes the appointments of Matthew Neil as director of operations and Adam Shackleton as director of sales & business Development for Western Canada. Carl Pollard, previously president of Legacy, continues in his role as vice-president, Western Canada. Technicians, fitters and office staff will maintain their roles and functions through the integration, according to the company.

“We’ve had the chance to get to know each other over the past year and see the benefits of working as one team,” said Francois Godin, CEO, Classic Fire + Life Safety, in a statement. “United in our mission to protect businesses from fire and accidents, we are even more optimistic about our collective future.”

“When my dad founded Legacy, his vision was to create an organization that would endure across generations for the benefit of employees and customers – a place where legacies were nurtured and built through hard work,” added Carl Pollard, who took the helm of his father’s business in 2015. “Now under the Classic banner, we can continue living out our commitment to delivering value and earning the trust of our clients. We’re happy to have found a partner that values people, relationships and customer service excellence.”
