Razberi adds Genetec as video management software partner
Razberi Technologies has added Genetec and its flagship product Omnicast to its line of video management software (VMS) partners.

“Genetec’s Omnicast software has been fully tested on the razberi platform and certified at a high level of performance,” said Tom Galvin, CEO, Razberi Technologies. “At Razberi, we develop enterprise level, smart appliances for deployment in highly distributed, multi-site environments such as retail, finance and education. The razberi appliances are a great enabler of Omnicast’s core feature set for multi-site video deployment.”
Razberi Technologies is the developer and manufacturer of the razberi ServerSwitch, which combines a network video recorder, a PoE switch, storage and a variety of VMS providers like Genetec into one appliance. Rather than employing the use of large network servers, the VMS runs directly on the razberi appliance. By combining these functions into one device, the installer saves time, and the risk of purchasing a component that can’t support the demands of a megapixel environment is eliminated.
Omnicast is the IP video management system of Genetec’s security center platform that provides organizations of all sizes the ability to deploy a surveillance system that matches their individualized security needs.
