These appointments come at an important time for the young company. The company has recently launched the R-Series of appliances, which converts any video surveillance system into a prevention solution with real-time monitoring and mobile alerts. VideoIQ is currently analyzing over 450 petabytes of video every 12 seconds from its 30K+ channels deployed worldwide, says the company.

“This team is well positioned to take VideoIQ’s intelligent analytics to the next level. We have a unique competitive advantage because we can analyze and respond to events faster and more accurately than anyone else. The deployment of video cameras in homes and small businesses is growing dramatically. Unfortunately, 99.9% of that video is of no interest and false alarms are high. With our new cloud based analytics, VideoIQ is uniquely positioned to add value by alerting the user in real-time to only those events they care about – right to their mobile device, so appropriate action can be taken. VideoIQ can couple our analytics with any current surveillance system, regardless of camera type or model. We will continue to grow share and expand the market, but most importantly, we will impact life safety through active prevention. This is what fuels and motivates us every single day,” said Ed Bednarcik, CEO of VideoIQ.

Dr. Saptharishi, Co-Founder and CTO of VideoIQ, combines technical expertise with strong business acumen to deliver on his new role as President. He has designed threat detection and prevention systems that push the boundaries of technology and science.

O’Connell has spent the past 20 years driving global brand recognition and revenue growth for technology companies. Her most notable success was leading F5 Networks’ worldwide marketing, which resulted in helping them become a pioneer in the load balancing market. Her experience will help drive the VideoIQ brand globally.

Frank is a seasoned veteran in physical security and surveillance. Throughout his career he has successfully built and managed sales teams, sales channels and strategic partnerships and alliances.

“Recording video is simply not enough. The consequences for most industry segments are just too great. VideoIQ offers anytime, anywhere monitoring, even in the most challenging environments. VideoIQ is poised to play a major role in crime prevention for any business or person threatened by service interruption, vandalism, theft or lack of proper security. You simply cannot sacrifice safety.”
