Tyco Integrated Security name now official
Tyco International announced this week that its ADT North America Commercial Security business unit now officially goes by its new name, Tyco Integrated Security. The change occurred July 2 in the U.S. and July 3 in Canada, due to the Canada Day long weekend. The company has also launched a new website, www.tycois.com.

The name change was announced in March in advance of the division of Tyco International into three independent companies — residential, fire and security, and flow control — which is expected to happen later this year.
“Although our name has changed, you can count on the same commitment, passion, leading-edge technologies and reliability you’ve come to expect from the commercial security industry leader,” said Brian McDonald, COO, Tyco Fire & Security and Acting President of Tyco Integrated Security. “With more than 100 years of experience in commercial security, Tyco Integrated Security will continue to deliver the most efficient and innovative security solutions that help customers meet the needs of their business.”
