Tech Data’s Physical Security SBU offers resellers access to
dedicated sales and technical resources. Partnerships with Digimerge,
Lorex, ONSSI and Videolarm strengthen the Physical Security SBU’s
video surveillance solutions offering with additional digital video
recorders, monitoring systems, software, IP cameras, lenses,
enclosures, mounts and other accessories.
Since most of its customers are installing IP-based security
solutions on existing networks, the Physical Security SBU has added
network testing equipment from JDSU — the parent company of Test-Um
Inc. — to its offering. To ensure proper connectivity for devices
such as cameras, environmental controls and door locks, networking
infrastructure needs to be tested and measured to ensure optimum
performance.
Additional Physical Security SBU vendor partners include: 4XEM,
Axis Communications, Bosch, Computar, D-Link, Cisco, IPX, ISONAS,
Milestone, NetBotz, NUUO, Panasonic, Q-See, Sony, Toshiba, United
Digital Technologies and Vivotek.
