Securitas expands services contract with Microsoft

Securitas announced it has expanded its services contract with Microsoft to provide the company with data centre security in 31 countries. The five-year agreement is effective July 1, 2023.

Securitas said it has worked with Microsoft since 2005 and has had a global agreement in place with the tech giant since 2016, including risk management, systems integration and guarding, among other services.

“Securitas and Microsoft are a great match,” said Magnus Ahlqvist, president and CEO, Securitas, in a statement. “We have developed a strong relationship with Microsoft over the years thanks to our extensive global presence, industry expertise, and solid governance. Through our consistent dedication, we have gained insight into their requirements, enabling us to deliver exceptional security solutions.”

Securitas said it is also looking at long-term goals for the collaboration, including “an optimal balance between guarding and advanced security solutions.”
