Securitas acquires iVerify customer contracts and additional assets

Securitas Electronic Security (SES) announced on Jan. 1 that it has acquired customer contracts and select assets of iVerify. A company statement indicated that the acquisition “supports Securitas’ stated strategy of building its electronic security business in North America.”

At an investor day event held in December, Securitas CEO Magnus Ahlqvist said the company plans to double the size of its electronic business in five years.

“We are excited to welcome iVerify’s clients to the SES client portfolio in North America,” said Tony Byerly, president and CEO, Securitas Electronic Security. “These clients align very well with our existing business operations and strategic focus, enabling us to bring our SES services and operational excellence to best serve these clients coast to coast in the U.S. and Canada.”
