The Oncam Grandeye integration will provide customers already using Genetec’s open solution—Security Centre 5.2 to use it with the Oncam Grandeye 360-degree experience via its Evolution range of cameras. “Oncam Grandeye enables retrospective analysis of an entire scene, thus providing complete situational awareness with 360-degree technology,” said George Maroussis, technology alliance manager at Genetec.
“Genetec has always been a leader in the development of world-class security solutions, and so it was natural for us to come together to provide them cutting-edge technology with situational awareness like never before,” said Greg Alcorn, senior vice president of business development at Oncam Grandeye.
“Oncam Grandeye, being leaders in the development and deployment of 360-degree technology, provide a great fit to the Genetec offering. We are pleased to be working closer with them now, and are looking forward to seeing the partnership bloom while the technology grows,” added Maroussis.
The combined technology solution will be demonstrated in Las Vegas at G2E, in the Renaissance Suite at the Venetian, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday, Sept 24-25.
