Wavestore announced that Kim Loy, senior vice-president, now leads operations for the Americas with offices in Ottawa and West Palm Beach, Fla., focusing on product development and innovation.
Loy has a long history of senior management experience in the physical security industry.
“Wavestore’s platform is a highly proven, well-established solution deployed globally in many prestigious customer wins, and we will reengage with current users while reintroducing the brand to new clients,” said Loy in a statement.
Wavestore stated that its recent expansion to Canada and the U.S. compliments its existing presence in the U.K., Europe and the Middle East.
Wavestore was acquired by Ottawa-based security entrepreneur Sam Shalaby earlier this year. “Our recent hires in the U.S. and Canada will bolster our sales in North America,” Shalaby told SP&T News in a recent interview. “Our focus is really to make the North American market a much, much bigger footprint than we have currently.”
