ISC West, which moved dates twice due to COVID-19 concerns, announced that it is cancelling its in-person event in favour of online content.

The conference, now re-imagined as a virtual event, will take place Oct. 5-7. Show organizers say more details will be revealed in the coming weeks.

“The ISC West 2020 Virtual Event plans to offer a 3-day agenda full educational programming, featuring the best of our SIA Education@ISC Program, high-profile Keynote speakers, Virtual Vendor Solution training Sessions, and more, in addition to virtual opportunities to connect with other security & public safety industry professionals.” states an information post on the ISC West website. The post also states that the virtual event will be offered free of charge to security and public safety professionals.

“While we are very disappointed to not be able to meet face-to-face this year in Las Vegas, we look forward to continuing to help the ISC West community engage via digital programs, resources and connections. Our team, along with our valued venue partner, Sands Expo and Venetian, is working on detailed planning and protocols for ISC West 2021, which will take place March 23-26, 2021,” said Will Wise, Group VP, Reed Exhibitions, in a statement.
