He will also lead IC Realtime’s special operations group (part of the company’s new government practice and law enforcement division) to create “overwatch” surveillance.
Mitchell is a security subject matter expert (SME) with over 30-years of safety and security-related design in hardware, network infrastructure, assessment, audit, implementation and executive protection, according to IC Realtime. He previously worked for Agent Vi and was VP of sales for Pivot3.
“For years, manufacturers have pumped out lots of cameras and recording equipment, but have not invested the time or resources to develop applications that make it easier for law enforcement. This is an area in which IC Realtime is going to lead by innovating and developing adaptable equipment for use by law enforcement in real-world scenarios,” Mitchell said.
He is based in IC Realtime’s Pompano Beach, Fla. headquarters.
