Video surveillance company Hanwha Techwin announced it is changing its name to Hanwha Vision.
The company said in a press release it “will go beyond its video surveillance products to provide next-generation vision solutions that integrate artificial intelligence (AI) and cloud technologies which deliver insights into customers’ business operations while driving global market innovation.”
“By building on our core competitiveness through innovation, we will continue to alleviate our customers’ pain points while adding new value with advanced vision solutions,” said Soon-hong Ahn, president and CEO, Hanwha Vision, in a statement. “As we expand our business from surveillance monitoring and post-event analysis, we will provide customized information through big data analytics and actionable solutions that not only prevent incidents but also respond to them in real time. Our new vision solutions will be instrumental in advancing customer’s operational strategies.”
Hanwha Vision said it will gradually roll out the rebranding of its overseas subsidiaries, products and solutions, based on market conditions.
