DFENDUS acquires integration business in the Toronto area
DFENDUS Security Solutions announced that it has acquired Actron Security Systems Ltd. based in Woodbridge, Ont.

According to DFENDUS, the acquisition includes all of Actron’s assets and customer contracts. Actron’s staff will be retained and the business will operate under the DFENDUS brand.
Actron has operated for more than 30 years, offering installation and support of surveillance, access control and security systems in the Greater Toronto Area.
“Actron’s strong history in the security space, with a respected track record of outstanding service and long-term customer relationships, provides DFENDUS with a fantastic foundation for growth in the Greater Toronto Area,” said Dan Marston, founder and president of DFENDUS, in a statement. “We welcome all members of the Actron team to DFENDUS and look forward to much success as we deliver strong market value together.”
“It is going to be great to see Actron grow to the next level under the DFENDUS banner and I’m excited for our people, our customers and the opportunity that this brings to them all,” added Pat Iamundi, president, Actron.
DFENDUS also acquired Hamilton, Ont.-based Inforce Security Corp. on Dec. 1, 2017.
