Dan Small, who has served as the general manager of Armstrongs National Alarm Monitoring for the past 20 years, has been promoted to company president. Small joined Armstrongs in 1993.
“Dan has dedicated his professional life to making the Canadian security monitoring industry better,” noted Armstrongs in an announcement on its website. “He is recognized by his peers as a champion for innovation and change, helping to ensure that the industry evolves and never becomes complacent. He continues to be passionate about leveraging technology and people to improve the services Armstrongs provides to our valued dealers and their subscribers in delivering enhanced safety and security solutions.”

He is the right person to lead our Canadian team into this exciting chapter of growth,” said Justin Bailey, president of AvantGuard Monitoring Centers, in a statement.
AvantGuard acquired Armstrongs in 2022.
