CPSG announces new president, COO
Brian Huitt, CEO of Controlled Products Systems Group (CPSG), is taking on the additional role of chairman of the board. At the same time, Ross Porter was named president and chief operating officer for CPSG, a wholesaler of perimeter access control solutions.

Huitt has 25 years of experience in the industry and co-founded a division of CPSG. His role on the board will allow him greater influence on the company’s long-term strategic vision.
“Ross’ unique skill set, combined with his understanding of our business, makes him a superb fit with our organization,” said Huitt.
Porter has been instrumental to CPSG as an advisor since the company’s acquisition by The Duchossois Group in the fall of 2014.
Porter brings a wealth of experience to CPSG, having served more than 25 years at consumer durables companies in roles spanning general management, operations and finance.
The company plans to strategically expand its footprint. Currently, it serves the Canadian market through an office in Seattle.
