Chamberlain Group announces new CEO
JoAnna Sohovich has been appointed CEO of The Chamberlain Group, Inc., maker of LiftMaster® and Chamberlain® access control brands.

JoAnna Sohovich “JoAnna is joining CGI at the perfect time,” said Brad Opel, executive vice-president, Chamberlain Americas. “Her IoT and technology experience will be an asset to our connectivity strategy.”
Sohovich has had a distinguished career at both Honeywell and Stanley Black & Decker, where she most recently served as global president of the Stanley Engineered Fastening. Sohovich began her career as an officer in the United States Navy.
As CEO of Chamberlain Group, Sohovich will oversee the company’s global operations. “CGI’s products are becoming more integrated into the connected lives of their users,” said Sohovich, referring to the MyQ® connectivity technology embedded in LiftMaster and Chamberlain products. “We will continue to drive innovation, while maintaining industry-leading quality throughout our manufacturing processes.”
