Ajax Systems recently hosted its fifth Ajax Special Event, an online showcase of its latest devices and new software features.
Among the new products introduced, Ajax unveiled a line of surveillance tools including a TurretCam, BulletCam and DomeCam Mini available in four possible configurations: a lens with a viewing angle of 85 or 110 degrees and 3K or 4K resolution. Each camera includes True WDR technology and a digital microphone which uses a custom noise cancellation system. All the cameras meet the IP65 protection class, capable of withstanding harsh weather conditions, according to the company.
The cameras utilize the Ajax Cloud to transmit system events. Proprietary JetSparrow technology enables peer-to-peer transmission of video data. With AI analysis capabilities, the cameras can detect and recognize various object types, such as humans, vehicles and pets. As a result, the surveillance system is able to record only relevant events, conserving storage space.
Ajax also introduced its Ajax NVR, which offers integration with the Ajax VMS and is available in 8 and 16-channel versions.
