XProtect on Amazon Web Services now available in AWS Marketplace

On June 9, Milestone Systems announced the availability of its XProtect on Amazon Web Services (AWS) solution in AWS Marketplace. XProtect on AWS offers a new way of designing XProtect systems. It is designed to reduce on-premises hardware and leverage AWS to remove the friction involved in setting up and maintaining on-site VMS systems.

Milestone Systems offers two products in AWS Marketplace: The free XProtect Essential+, and XProtect BYOL (Bring Your Own License), which requires a paid license sold through Milestone’s existing distribution channels. Both products are available across all AWS Regions.

XProtect on AWS is ideal for large enterprises, federal organizations, and smart cities. Such distributed multi-site-organizations can now accelerate towards cloud-first initiatives and scale easily to meet business demand. AWS’s reliable infrastructure reduces the risk of service disruptions and ensures continuous operation.

By reducing on-premises hardware, partial outsourcing of IT infrastructure, and turning CAPEX to OPEX, XProtect on AWS can help organizations optimize their cost structure and deliver better results.
