VIVOTEK announced that it has completed integration of AI and its new products, allowing the company “to build for users more comprehensive AI security solutions.”

“The rapidly changing situations in the world have made people’s safety needs more diverse,” said Louis Liao, director of product planning, VIVOTEK, in a statement. “Thus, we need smarter security solutions. To respond to market trends more rapidly and seize the business opportunities in the smart surveillance market, VIVOTEK has launched a series of new-generation products since last year, such as the smart cloud-based surveillance service, Vortex, and the recent VAST Security Station (VSS); moreover, these new products are horizontally integrated through AI technology, utilizing smart surveillance technology to upgrade efficiency of corporate operations and meet customers’ expectations for AI security applications.”

VIVOTEK says its AI security solutions rely on edge computing capabilities to significantly enhance image searching speed and precision, and trajectory integrity, giving traditional surveillance services a new scope of application.

To expand application scenarios of AI security solutions, VIVOTEK also deploys on diverse platforms and co-operates with strategic partner Milestone. Through integration of AI technology and Milestone’s XProtect surveillance platform, VIVOTEK says it will help global customers to develop their desired smart surveillance solutions comprehensively and flexibly, satisfying security needs in different environments.
