Josh Bowman, Steve Vocke, Christian Van Horn and James Freeman will be the new faces introducing customers to Vicon’s Valerus video management software, VAX access control software, and the company’s line of cameras and network hardware.

Bowman began his career in 1992 working in the family audio/visual & electronic business before moving into the IT and networking industry in the late 1990s, according to Vicon. Since then, he has focused on system integrations.

Vocke is a 23-year veteran of the telecom, datacomm and systems integration industries, the company says. He brings a variety of experience from Black Box Networks, CommScope and Anixter.

Van Horn brings 11 years of security electronics and software experience to Vicon, the company adds, and comes from Source Security Solutions, where he led sales and product management.

Vicon notes Freeman has 15 years experience handling solutions sales at telecommunications companies like AT&T, Research in Motion and Sony.

“The enthusiasm, professionalism and commitment that these terrific new regional sales managers are already contributing to the Vicon organization will be a key ingredient in the revitalization of the Vicon brand,” said Bret McGown, Vicon’s senior vice-president of sales and marketing. With the recent launch of our exciting, entirely new product line, including VMS and access control software, there has never been a better time than now for Vicon to benefit from the talents of Josh, Steve, Christian and James.”
