Tri-Ed’s IP video tech tour returns to Canada in May
Tri-Ed is strengthening its IP offerings and training by partnering with the industry’s best-in-class manufacturers. The 2010 North American IP Video Tech Tour will continue to educate dealers coast to coast in the U.S. and Canada throughout Q2. Tri-Ed says that with the right training and technology, dealers can transition easily to IP.
The IP Tech Tour training schedule continues through the second quarter and will return to Canada in May, making stops in Winnipeg on April 6, Saskatoon on April 8, the Vancouver branch on May 13, the Toronto branch on May 18th and the Ottawa branch on May 20.
The IP Video Tech Tour training classes, led by Jeff Stout, Network Solutions Manager for Tri-Ed, cover the basics of networking, IP configuration, and IP video and network video recording. Attendees learn the IP language and gain the skills needed to set up a small to medium network. “Dealers want to better understand basic network communications and infrastructure along with IP video systems design and best practices,” says Stout. “They’re recognizing the advantages of IP video, such as HD surveillance, video analytics, and the inherent redundancy of well planned networks.”
