Toshiba issues “cheat sheet” for installs
Toshiba's Surveillance & IP Video Products Group has created a "cheat sheet" to educate installers and dealers on recommended configurations of Toshiba cameras, recorders and accessories.

Available at www.toshibasecurity.com, the guide examines the needs of small (eight cameras or less), medium (9-16 cameras), and large (16+ cameras) installations. Customers are given a detailed solution from both the IP and analog perspective, taking into account whether cameras will be deployed indoors or outdoors. The company says, cameras mounted on the exterior of a building, for example, require specialized housings, such as those found on Toshiba IK-WR04A domes, to protect their sensitive electronics from weather extremes.
