Tony Byerly to lead Securitas’ global electronic security business

Securitas AB recently announced the promotions of Tony Byerly to president of Global Electronic Security and Kevin Engelhardt to president, Securitas Electronic Security and electronic security business leader for North America.

According to Securitas, Byerly will lead global strategy for electronic security specialization, working with Securitas’ other global business leaders. He reports to Magnus Ahlqvist, Securitas AB president and CEO. Engelhardt will oversee day-to-day leadership of SES across North America, and support growth strategies and clients across the U.S., Canada and Mexico. Engelhardt was previously COO for SES North America and prior to that SVP field operations for Diebold Security. Engelhardt will continue to report to Byerly.

“I’m confident Tony’s and Kevin’s leadership will help propel us in the next chapter of our transformation journey,” said Ahlqvist in a company statement.

Securitas acquired Diebold’s North American electronic security business in 2016.
