The S2.4 comes equipped with up to 16 selectable channels

TOA Canada Corporation announced the release of their Trantec S2.4 Digital wireless system. It is a new addition to its wireless microphone line up.
With the UHF band, becoming more crowded and remaining mired in regulatory uncertainty, the S2.4 Series is a 16-channel digital wireless microphone system that overcomes those barriers. It has adopted the ISM 2.4GHz Digital Audio Frequency, which automatically filters out radio interference. Sound is clear and natural thanks to the comprehensive application of Digital Audio Processing Technology, while the smart ID code Identifying Synchronization Technology makes installation easier.
The S2.4 comes equipped with up to 16 selectable channels, available as single and dual channel systems. The Single system comes with the option of either a handheld microphone or a beltpack transmitter. The Dual receiver system offers multiple microphone options to suit the needs of the user. The handheld transmitter presents a clear and intuitive LED display. Both the handheld and beltback work on two AA batteries that last for up to 5 hours.
“The S2.4 Digital Wireless System will offer our customer flexibility and options of having up to 2 different types of microphones with ease of setup”, said Ibrahim Chehade, product development engineer at TOA Canada, in a prepared statement. “The attractive new design and competitive price point shall surely be a head turner for this product .”
