G4S Secure Solutions (Canada) Ltd.  announced the addition of Tim Grose to its Canadian team as vice-president, Secure Integration.

In his new role, Grose will lead the Secure Integration team in Canada with a focus on growing the business as the company expands market share nationally, according to G4S.

G4S Canada acquired Sudbury, Ont.-based i-Vision in 2016 and Montreal-based Securium earlier this year.

“Over the past four years we have committed and invested heavily in growing our security footprint in technology,” said Tim Saunders, chief business development officer and senior vice-president, Secure Integration, in a statement. “Given Tim Grose’s experience in the business and his success, both from an operational and relationship perspective, we couldn’t be more excited about what he brings to the business. We are confident that his unique combination of sales and marketing skills will enhance our already strong team.”

Grose has more than 25 years of sales leadership experience in a variety of industries in Canada and the United States. Grose started in the security industry with a Toronto-based security company as their VP of sales. He was then promoted to SVP of sales and business development where he was responsible for opening offices in major city centres in Canada. During his tenure, Grose delivered consistent year-over-year growth of more than 30 per cent in his first four years. Most recently Grose achieved success as area sales manager with Johnson Controls (JCI).

“An entrepreneur at heart since starting my own business right out of university, I was drawn to the opportunity that exists within G4S,” said Grose. “G4S is at an exciting time in their growth trajectory. Their recent acquisition of Securium, which expanded their core capabilities within Eastern Canada, demonstrated that they are serious about being a player in the technology space, and that excites me. I look forward to helping the team meet their aggressive goals.”

G4S said its recent investments in people, process and technology has significantly changed the face of its technology business — “the team is looking forward to leveraging the momentum it has captured over the past few months.”

“As we start to see businesses reopen, we have shifted to supporting Return to Work efforts with our robust and comprehensive risk-based approach, and technology plays an important role. We are confident that Tim Grose is the right person to help drive us forward,” said Saunders.
