Tech Systems Inc. announces ISO 27001 certification
Tech Systems Inc. has achieved the ISO 27001 certification. This certification applies to the international standard that describes the best practices for an information security management system (ISMS).

This ISO family of standards ensures the secure management of financial information, intellectual property, employee details or information entrusted to a company by third parties.
The process involved an audit entailing interviews with administration, security operations center (SOC), quality assurance, human resources and finance, as well as an investigation of risk management, physical security, access control and security best practices. Tech Systems’ ISMS met all logical, process, physical and management controls to achieve compliance with the standard.
The company says the certification underscores their commitment to their ongoing development of their ISMS.
“To our knowledge, Tech Systems is the only security integrator with the ISO 27001 designation,” said Wayne Smith, president, Tech Systems. “This certification uniquely positions us in the marketplace with respect to the rapidly changing security integration technologies, and how we manage our client’s technology and information throughout the entire value chain.”
