StoneLock, biometrics solution provider, hires CTO
StoneLock, a designer and manufacturer of biometrics solutions, announced Jim Trani as the company’s chief technology officer.

Trani has 40 years of experience in R&D of engineering solutions and will lead the company’s technology growth in developing biometric applications for identity and credential management.
“Jim has been at the highest levels of enterprise security for many years and we are thrilled to welcome him, a true leader in security design and product engineering, to our team,” said CEO and co-founder Colleen Dunlap, in a statement. “His wide-ranging experience in the research and development of complete engineering solutions, including professional licenses for electrical and mechanical engineering, will accelerate StoneLock’s growth and leadership in the design and manufacturing of advanced technology products.”
Trani’s previous experience includes video an access control systems development for solution providers including Infographic Systems/GE Security, Pelco/Schneider Electric, Compass Technologies/Wheelock and SoftwareHouse/American Dynamics/Tyco Security Products.
