Significant percentage of MOBOTIX products shipping outside of Europe

MOBOTIX has announced its consolidated financial results for the second quarter and the first half of its fiscal year (Oct 1, 2012 - March 31, 2013).

In the second quarter, MOBOTIX increased its sales revenue by nine per cent year on year to €21.3 million. Earnings before interest and tax (EBIT) were €4.1 million, resulting in an EBIT margin of 20 per cent. Profit for the period after taxes were €2.7 million, while earnings per share came to €0.21. The export ratio was 79 per cent.

Germany-based MOBOTIX said 44 per cent of its products were exported to countries outside of Europe signifying an “increasingly international dimension of the company. . . and makes MOBOTIX less dependent on overall economic developments in individual sales regions.”
 
In the first half of the current fiscal year, sales revenue grew by three per cent to €41.4 million, while EBIT amounted to €7.4 million. The MOBOTIX Group’s first-half EBIT margin was 17.9 per cent and its profit for the period after taxes totaled €5.0 million.
