SIA to recognize Alice DiSanto with committee chair of the year award

The Security Industry Association has named Alice DiSanto the 2022 recipient of the SIA Committee Chair of the Year Award, which recognizes individuals for excellence in leading SIA committees and advancing member objectives. SIA will present DiSanto with the award at The Advance, SIA’s annual membership meeting, which will be held Mar. 22 during ISC West.

DiSanto joined SIA in 2014 and eventually helped found the organization’s Women in Security Forum Steering Committee and chair of the forum’s Charitable Giving Subcommittee.

DiSanto has executive leadership experience with firms in the Fortune Global 500, four upstart companies and a regional hospital. She has performed in roles with Toyota Motor Sales, Sharp Electronics Corporation’s robotics division and Rajant Corporation, where she currently serves as vice-president of global marketing.

“To be recognized for leading all of you to help someone else is a gift beyond measure, and I am truly grateful,” said DiSanto in a statement.
