Senstar recognized as a top employer in Ottawa

“Senstar is very honored to receive this recognition,” stated Eleanor Hodgson, VP of Operations at Senstar, who also leads the company’s employee engagement initiative. “At Senstar, we know that the success of our company depends on our people. As part of our strategy, we have set out goals that focus on quality of work, tangible rewards, future growth opportunities, enabling environments, inspirational values and work-life balance.”

The Employees’ Choice Awards program collects information based on confidential surveys completed by employees. The surveys measure employees’ perception of managers and senior leaders, opportunities for personal and professional growth as well as overall job satisfaction. This program has been in place for a number of years, but this is the first year Senstar is participating.

“Throughout the company’s over 30 year history, Senstar has had a loyal and engaged workforce. We are building on these strengths as part of our employee engagement initiative. One important element is community involvement. The employees and the company participate in a variety of fundraising activities, supporting numerous local and national charities throughout the year. Last year, we celebrated Good Deeds Day by refurbishing and painting a recreation association facility in our community. Our entire staff took part,” said Hodgson.
