The tournament will be held at York University in Toronto on Feb. 18, 2016. Security professionals and companies are invited to participate in the event by sponsoring a team or assembling their own teams. Proceeds will go to support Mission 500 and underprivileged children in Canada.

A non-profit organization, Mission 500 is a security industry charity that works with World Vision to help children and their families around the world who are struggling with poverty.

“This is a great opportunity for the Canadian security industry to rally behind a truly important cause,” says Paul Grossinger, group publisher for SP&T News, and chair of Mission 500’s Canada Committee. “We are privileged to be the media sponsor for Mission 500 in Canada and I encourage security professionals to lend their support to this tournament and get involved. If we can have some fun along the way, so much the better.”

The puck drops Feb. 18. Show your support and help Mission 500 provide better outcomes for Canadian children who are looking for a positive start in life.
