Saskatoon integrator recognized by chamber of commerce
Saskatoon systems integrator Reed Security recently won two Saskatoon Chamber of Commerce SABEX Awards: Small Business of the Year and Customer Service.

The Small Business of the Year award is awarded to a business with 15 or less employees. According to judging criteria: “The recipient must clearly demonstrate excellence in the areas they consider key to their success, including profitability, customer service, growth and/or expansion, marketing, and employment creation.”
The Customer Service Award is awarded to a business demonstrating “exceptional customer service.”
Virgil Reed, who started the company 13 years ago, told the Star Phoenix newspaper, the awards “are a validation that hard work does pay off.”
Reed Security specializes in home and business security with more than 3,000 clients in the Saskatoon area. The company’s products include: 24/7 ULC-listed monitoring; ALARM.COM Interactive Services; high definition video surveillance and access control.
