Reliance Protectron launches new website to focus on interactive security services

“Everyone can now find the ideal security solution in one place – just visit our website and you can quickly and easily select one of the great packages we’ve put together, whether you’re looking to protect and manage your home or your business,” says Patrice De Luca, Vice President, Marketing and Customer Care for Reliance Protectron.

Homeowners have a choice of four residential packages. Each package was designed with specific customer needs in mind, ranging from life safety services against intrusion, burglaries, and fire to complete smart home packages, including advanced interactive and home automation services. Included in each plan are the QualiGARD extended service plan, which includes labour and replacement of defective equipment or parts (except batteries), and ProGARD, which covers the insurance deductible for up to $1,000 for claims arising from theft or fire. For example, the Security Plus package was created for customers seeking life safety services and protection against hazards such as home intrusion, burglaries, and fire. Protectron’s exclusive text-messaging TeleGARD service is included in this package at no extra cost. With TeleGARD, customers are notified whenever the status of their security system changes and they can keep track of comings and goings in their homes. The Smart Home package includes advanced interactive and home automation services that allow customers to manage their home from anywhere. This package includes the image sensor and photo surveillance service, remote control door lock, and an interactive thermostat and lighting control module for energy management.

Businesses – whether small, medium, multi-site or large – have the option of pre-selected packages or creating a customized solution. Owners and managers of small and medium-sized businesses can choose between four SMB packages, which range from anti-theft protection to remote monitoring to access management. Interactive services are included with each SMB package. The Connect and Control package, for example, focuses on keypad access code and system user management and intrusion prevention. The Asset Protection package helps reduce internal and external operating costs and monitors your valuable inventory through Reliance Protectron professional monitoring centres. This package includes CamGARD-M professional video surveillance, whereby Reliance Protectron experts watch over what’s happening in businesses and the monitoring centres take all necessary measures for every type of event.
