Quebec-based Extravision acquired by ADGA
Ottawa-based ADGA Group Consultants Inc. Thursday announced it has acquired Extravision Video Technologies Inc.

Extravision, which specializes in the design and integration of security technology, is based in Trois-Rivières, Que., and also has offices in Montreal, Ottawa and Toronto.
“The acquisition of Extravision is part of our continuing expansion, and adds a comprehensive portfolio of highly-specialized security services in the development, design and integration of security technologies that will provide our customers with extended service offerings,” said Françoise Gagnon, CEO of ADGA, in a statement.
“United by a common business culture of service excellence, our combined resources will lead the industry in end-to-end security systems solutions,” added André Fiset, president and founder of Extravision. “We are excited about this merger as it will continue to enhance our growth and performance.”
ADGA operates offices across Canada and offers professional services to clients in the defence, security and enterprise computing industries. Founded in 1967, the company employs more than 700 people.
