VideoWave joins ProTech along with Sorhea Technology and TIL Technologies. All three companies were owned by parent company Groupe ST of France.

Groupe ST Chairman Eric Thord said the acquisition supports ProTech’s overarching strategy in North America to provide complete perimeter security solutions that protect critical infrastructure sites and assets.

“Since 2004, VideoWave has been designing and bringing to market video analytic based intelligent tools that track moving objects detected by PTZ cameras,” said Thord. “VideoWave’s technology is a complement to the rest of the family in creating a full end-to-end security solution.”

ProTech manufactures perimeter intrusion sensors and wide-area surveillance systems that secure high-profile critical infrastructure sites and high-value assets.
