Altronix has expanded its Trove Access and Power Integration Solutions series. New additions to the Trove series include Altronix integrations with Bosch, DMP, Honeywell, Kantech and Sielox access. These new models join the line of Trove solutions which accommodate AMAG, CDVI, HID/Vertx, KABA/KeyScan, Mercury and Software House access controllers. The Trove2 Access and Power Integration Solutions are designed for larger applications and allow Altronix power/accessories combined with access controllers from manufacturers to be wired and pre-tested prior to on-site installations. Meanwhile, the Trove1 Access and Power Integration Solution, a more compact version of the Trove2 for smaller applications, accommodates CDVI, HID/VertX and Mercury access controllers. All Trove enclosures include a cam lock, tamper switch and mounting hardware.
The Kensington VeriMark Fingerprint Key combines biometric performance and 360-degree readability with anti-spoofing technology and fingerprint activated collaboration capabilities. Designed to meet Windows Hello security requirements, the key allows users without a fingerprint sensor in their computers to enjoy the benefits of the faster, more secure login that Windows Hello affords. Businesses whose employee computers do not have biometric authentication capabilities, can deploy the fingerprint key without having to replace an entire fleet of laptops.
Visitor Pass Solutions, a division of Data Management Inc., has developed a new brand for its temporary badge product line. The company says the One Day Time-Expiring Visitor Badges bolster security protocols and simplify visitor management at schools, healthcare facilities, corporate campuses and more. The new badges change colour overnight to display the word “VOID,” preventing reuse the next day. Visitor Pass Solutions says this means the badges don’t need to be collected at the end of a visit. The product will be formally unveiled at ASIS 2017, September 25-28, in Dallas, Texas.
The iSTAR Ultra LT Door Controller from Software House is a special edition iSTAR Ultra door controller that provides a full IP architecture and enterprise level features for small to mid-sized access control deployments. iSTAR Ultra LT centralizes all access control decision processing and secures network communications while allowing end users to use existing infrastructure and Power over Ethernet capabilities. iSTAR Ultra LT features a scalable architecture that includes support for up to eight card readers and 500,000 cardholders. The control module maintains the local access control database and makes all access decisions, centralizing access control management for operators. iSTAR Ultra LT can be shared with several Ethernet door modules. Its encryption and authentication ensure that communications between access controllers and doors are cyber secure.
C•CURE 9000 v2.60 offers advanced access control policy enforcement and customization, after-hours reader groups, expiring clearances and other notable features, as well as increased operational efficiency. This latest version of the C•CURE 9000 security and event management platform also supports IPV6 address protocols for the iSTAR Ultra door controller and introduces a new C•CURE 9000 Web Client user interface. Enhancements give end users the ability to configure the platform to create a new event after a number of consecutive rejections. With this feature, end users can define the threshold for event creation by configuring the number of consecutive retries allowed within a given time period.
The OBSG-LG-CV-Wave Turnstile from Orion Entrance Control is an Optical Barrier Swing Glass-Low Glass-Clear View Wave turnstile with an open look – accentuated by 3/8-inch transparent glass on the sides and 3/8-inch tempered swing glass. Integrated into the pedestal is the Safran MorphoWAVE biometric reader that captures fingerprints with one contactless movement or “wave.” The throughput yield is one person per second which provides any lobby with a modern option for turnstile security. Also offered by the company: Infinity Remote Lane Control Software (IRLC-SW) and Surface Pro 4 Touchscreen/Armodilo Case.
