Pelco lays off 43 employees
Pelco by Schneider Electric, a maker of security cameras and surveillance equipment, has laid off 43 workers as the company narrows its technology focus, the Fresno Bee reports.

Company spokeswoman Linda Myers told the newspaper the layoffs will include employees at the Clovis, CA, manufacturing plant as well as other Schneider factories.
The article goes on to say Pelco employs about 1,000 workers globally. The company reduced its workforce in 2014, by about 45 people.
