Panasonic unveils new additions at ISC West 2019

LAS VEGAS – Panasonic System Solutions Company of North America says it will showcase new additions to its technology portfolio of end-to-end security and evidence management solutions at ISC West, April 10-12, in Booth #10037 at the Sands Convention Center in Las Vegas.

New i-PRO Extreme Compact Dome Cameras Series – WV-S3511L, WV-S3531L, WV-S3111L, WV-S3512LM, WV-S3532LM

Panasonic says the new i-PRO Extreme Compact Dome Camera series delivers amazing image quality in a small package. These compact size HD cameras bring high resolution at 720p, 60 fps intelligent Auto (iA), H.265 smart coding support, Super Dynamic 134dB, Built-in IR LED and corridor mode.

New i-Pro EXTREME H.265 Multi-Sensor Camera – WV-X8570N, WV-S8530N

According to the firm, the new i-Pro EXTREME Multi-Sensor cameras deliver high resolution image quality – 4x4K (33 MP), 3840×2160, 15 FPS – for evidence capturing under the most challenging of conditions which makes it perfect for use in safe city and traffic applications. i-Pro EXTREME Multi-Sensor cameras have four repositionable lenses, 4K image sensors, offer clear images of fast-moving vehicles with iA and ClearSight Coating. Highly durable and adaptable to extreme low light performance, the i-PRO EXTREME Multi-Sensor is optimized for nighttime applications. H.265 compression with new smart coding, self-learning Region of Interest and advanced data security further enhance the i-Pro EXTREME Multi-Sensor camera product line.

New-to-Market: FacePRO Facial Recognition

Featuring a “deep learning” core engine that boasts the world’s highest face recognition performance, Panasonic says the FacePRO high-precision facial recognition software can identify faces that are difficult to recognize with conventional technologies, including faces at an angle of up to 45 degrees as well as those partially hidden by sunglasses. 

FaceAlert allows users to register a face and show registered faces, receive notifications of a face-matching alert and view the history of face matching alerts.

Next Gen: Video Insight VI 7.4 Video Management Software

According to Panasonic, VI 7.4, the latest generation of Video Insight’s open-platform VMS, brings enhanced scalability, improved client performance, NVR integration, 360 dewarps support for Mac as well as enhanced analytics support including Line Crossing, Direction Detection and Loitering Direction.

VI 7.4’s new Plug-Ins Module features analytics, transportation, geolocation, license plate recognition, gunshot detection, and more. The Plug-in architecture adds greater scalability and improves feature sets.

Unified Digital Evidence Software

The firm says Unified Digital Evidence software offers a unique platform to gather and store digital evidence from the Arbitrator In-Car and Body-Worn camera platforms, as well as other sources, including fixed surveillance and a variety of digital media devices.
