Ottawa integrator announces new customer projects
Ottawa-based security integrator Marcomm Systems Group is in growth mode, adding three new personnel and expanding its customer base.
Jeff MacDonald was hired as plant coordinator, Chris Stieber as head of IT Security, and Ed Wittebol as lead draftsman.
The company was also recently awarded a contract at the Barrie Courthouse to deploy a unified CCTV and access control system, a fully redundant Storage Array Network (SAN), exterior swing gates, and duress stanchion towers in parking areas.The company will also build a Graphical User Interface (GUI) for the judicial Duress Alarm Display and intercom using their integration software DYNATROL.
Other recent contracts include the Nova Institution for Women in Nova Scotia, the Cowansville New Living Unit in Quebec, and the Ambassador Hotel & Convention Centre in Kingston, Ont.
