New Product Innovation Zone launching at Security Canada Central Oct. 20-21
July 14, 2010 By Jennifer Brown
The Innovation Zone will showcase the very latest in product development available in the security industry and put it on prominent display for attendees to investigate during Canada’s largest security industry trade show.
“Attendees at Security Canada Central are always looking for new products and technology at our shows,” says Steve Basnett, CEM, Director, Trade Shows and Events for CANASA. “This new Innovation Zone gives them an area where they can easily review the newest products available on the market.”
The Innovation Zone gallery will be located on the show floor and provide attendees with a snapshot of what’s in store for them at SCC 2010. The gallery will include space for images and descriptions of all the participating products mounted as enlarged images and displayed for viewing.
“The Innovation Zone gallery will not compete with the actual products being shown at exhibitors’ booths, but will help drive traffic to those booths,” says Basnett.
To be eligible to enter the Innovation Zone, the new product and/or product enhancement must meet each of the following criteria:
1. The company must be a contracted SCC exhibitor.
2. The new product or service must have been released after Nov. 1, 2009, and must be available for sale on or before the first day of SCC, October 20, 2010.
