Milestone to offer BriefCam-powered video analytics on XProtect VMS platform

Milestone Systems introduces of XProtect Rapid REVIEW, powered by BriefCam’s video analytics technology, which the company says will enable customers to accelerate investigations by reviewing hours of video recordings in minutes.

XProtect Rapid REVIEW is an add-on product that is integrated into Milestone’s XProtect Smart Client. The product will be available starting Oct. 27 and it is supported on all paid XProtect VMS products.

XProtect Rapid REVIEW enables cross-camera video searches and filtering, based on an expanding suite of classes, attributes, behaviours and visual layers that help investigators pinpoint people, objects, and behaviours of interest, according to Milestone. VIDEO SYNOPSIS technology gives the operator the ability to visualize objects simultaneously that appeared at different times within the video.
