Milestone Systems launches the System Builder Program
Milestone Systems has launched the System Builder Program for hardware partners in the Milestone community. The open program enables hardware manufacturers to ship their servers, clients and storage solutions powered by Milestone XProtect software.

With XProtect Essential+ preloaded on the hardware, the program enables the deployment of the Milestone VMS or an upgrade to one of the more advanced editions through a Milestone channel partner.
Milestone supports the VMS software while the hardware partners that join the program will leverage their existing support structures.
In addition to the XProtect functionality, Milestone customers can access the software add-on options from Milestone Solution Partners and over 7,000 supported camera models and other hardware devices.
Milestone Solution Partners will have access to a wider installed base of XProtect software, while resellers and integrators will have access to a wider range of customers via XProtect Essential+, the company says.
“The System Builder Program is all about ease of deployment. Customers can now get the XProtect experience on their hardware of choice in a few clicks. Nobody else is doing this,” said Bjørn Skou Eilertsen, CTO of Milestone Systems.
