Milestone Systems indicates significant 2024 revenue growth

Highlighting its 2024 accomplishments and financial results, Milestone Systems says it outpaced the market with 18.7 per cent growth in net revenue, reaching the DKK 2 billion mark (approx. US$290 million). Milestone also referenced its previous acquisitions of BriefCam analytics and Arcules and indicated it is “now ready to expand and push technology boundaries.”

“Milestone has delivered exceptional results in 2024, marked by significant growth in both revenue and earnings,” said Lars Larsen, chief financial officer at Milestone.

Milestone has effectively doubled its the revenue from 2020. Earnings (EBIT) reached DKK 106,8 million (approx. US$15.5 million). “We consider this to be a very satisfying result, underscoring the resilience and strength of our business,” said Larsen.

“Milestone and our colleagues and partners have shown great resilience and achieved impressive outcomes in a time of significant change around the world. Focusing on strengthening our innovation means that today, we are positioned well to be the frontrunner of the technology-enabled era that awaits,” he added.

Milestone says 23 per cent of its revenue was spent on research and development – in total DKK 478 million (approx. US$69.3 million) – an increase of 34 per cent compared to 2023.

Building on 2024 achievements and the acquisitions of BriefCam video analytics and Arcules cloud, the company’s focus in 2025 will be to “amplify Milestone’s investments in technology, talent and expertise even further.”

Milestone Systems was founded in Denmark in 1998. In 2014, it became part of the Canon Group via acquisition and continues to operate independently.
