Matrix decouples product and direct service businesses

After careful consideration and study Matrix Systems has determined the best long-term growth strategy for the company is to decouple its product business, Frontier, and its direct service business, which will now be called Xentry Systems Integration.

“For the majority of our customers, the only change they will experience will be Xentry expanding the service offerings to include third party video systems, intrusion, and other security products,” says Matrix CEO Holly Tsourides. “Xentry will continue to be staffed by the same service and account management personnel that you have worked with for many years and come to know and trust.”

Frontier will be receiving significant reinvestment in both hardware and software over the coming quarters, says Tsourides, “and we look forward to launching the Frontier Integrated Platform, a unified enterprise access and video platform, in Q3 of this year.”

In addition, Frontier will put into place a channel of Affiliate Partners across North America to service customers who fall outside of Xentry’s direct service area.

“So while Xentry is focused on growing in the service areas of Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky, western Pennsylvania, Michigan, and southern Florida, we promise the service levels of customers outside that area will not change until we have a partner certified to our exacting standards in your area,” says Tsourides.
